Résumé
PhD in Electronics Engineering by the
University of Newcastle Upon Tyne - UK (1997), MSc in Computer Sciences by the
Federal University of Pernambuco UFPE - Brazil (1990) and Electronic Engineer
by UFPE (1986). Currently he is the CEO of C.E.S.A.R
– Recife Center for Advanced Studies and Systems, Associate Professor at the Center for Informatics - CIn/UFPE, President
of the Small Business Committee and board member of AMCHAM
– Pernambuco Section.
Formerly he was the President of C.E.S.A.R (2002-2005), Director of Marketing
of the Brazilian
Computer Society - SBC (2001-2005)
and Head of the Dept of Computer Sciences at CIn/UFPE'(2002-2005). As a
researcher he works with Information and Communications Technology, more specifically
with Embedded and Real Time Systems.
