Gurvan Huiban

I graduated in 2001 as an Engineer in Computer Science at the ISIMA college of engineering, Clermont-Ferrand, France.

In 2001, I made a DEA (Preparative course for Ph.D) in Computer Science, majoring in Operations research at the Blaise Pascal University, Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Since July, 2006 I have a Ph.D from:

• the Computer Science department (DCC) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil;
• the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, Nice (France).

My Ph.D report, "The reconfiguration problem in optical networks", was prepared at

• the Operations Research Laboratory (LaPO), from the DCC, UFMG.
• MASCOTTE Project: INRIA Sophia Antipolis and I3S joint project, Nice (France). The I3S itself is a joint project between the CNRS and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.

During my Ph.D, I successively received grants from the FAPEMIG, the CNPq and the CAPES. I also received financial support from the CNRS and the INRIA. Finally, I have been granted a Lavoisier Scholarship from the French "Ministère des Affaires Étrangères".

In 2006-2007, I was ATER from the IUT Nice Côte d'Azur which belongs to the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (France), where I taught Computer architecture.

I entered the Computation Center (CIn) of the Federal University of Pernambuco, Recife (Brazil) in 2012 as associate professor.
