Feature to be automated

The Test Manager indicates which feature are going to be automated according to the Test Plan where the Test Manager can select the feature based on the frequency of use of some test cases, or according to the Release Notes of an important build that are going to be tested and need that some important test cases be automated.

Indicate where the test cases are available
It is important to indicate where the test cases are available to make easier to the Test Engineer when executing the Select Test Cases activity.
Define the Schedule
The Test Manager defines the schedule of the automation of the feature selected. This is an important thing that have to be done paying attention to the schedule of the project as a whole in a way not to harm the others activities of the organization.
Define the test automation team
According to the team allocation of the project as a whole, the Test Manager has to select the team members that are available to this activity but also paying attention in if the available team members fits to the necessary roles to execute the Test Automation Process.
Indicate which is the test automation environment
It is necessary to indicate which is the test automation environment that will be used during the test automation process.
Establish the Quantity of Test Cycles to be Under Control
It is necessary to indicate how many test cycles, the Test Script will be under the control in the Control Automation activity.
