Requirements Engineering @ Brazil (ER@BR 2013)
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 16 July, 2013
Co-located with the 21th IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference (RE'13)
The Requirements Engineering (RE) is a branch of software engineering that is concerned with the identification of the goals, functions and
constraints that a software system under development must address. In Brazil there are several active RE communities. These groups have national
and international insertion, always participating in events such as CBSoft, WER, CIBSE and the IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference (RE).
We are organizing the Requirements Engineering @ Brazil event (ER @ BR 2013) and cordially invite you and members of your group to join us.
The ER@BR 2013 will focus on the Brazilian Requirements Engineering community addressing concerns related to three general viewpoints: research,
practice and government. It will be organized with short presentations and panels, aiming to stimulate the dialogue between scientists, educators,
professionals and students. The intention is to exchange experiences, present solutions as well as to survey issues and challenges in the area of
Requirements Engineering.
The official language of ER@BR 2013 is Portuguese, but contributions in English are welcomed.
The objective of the event is to share knowledge, stimulate discussion and foster new lines of research and collaboration among different groups.
To support these goals, we will schedule as much time for discussion as for presentations ? the actual time will depend on the final number of accepted papers.
In addition to the sessions, we also plan to include a panel about the requirements engineering practice in the Brazil and the customary wrap-up session.
The program will also include a keynote talk.
Contributions should be 5-6 pages in LNCS format, http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html, describing current and ongoing research related to requirements
engineering. The contribution shall adhere to the following structure:
- Title, authors, abstract
- Section 1. Introduction.
- Section 2. Objectives of the research.
- Section 3. Scientific contributions. If you have tool support, please mention and describe it explicitly
- Section 4. Conclusions.
- Section 5. Ongoing and future work
- References. Please restrict references to mainly your own work.
All submissions should be uploaded to easychair:
