Submission Guidelines
The workshop will accept both technical papers (up to 8 pages) and posters (up to 2 pages).
Papers/posters should preferrably be written in English, but can also be written in Portuguese or Spanish.
Submitted papers must be unpublished and should not be under review elsewhere. The acceptance of a paper
implies that at least one of its authors will register for the workshop to present it.
All submissions must be in PDF format, and must follow the Brazilian Computer Society paper guidelines
(see details below). All papers must be submitted using the JEMS conference system
(https://submissoes.sbc.org.br).
Papers will be reviewed according the the following criteria: adequacy to the workshop scope, relevance,
technical quality, clarity, and originality. Papers describing preliminary work are eligible as "position papers".
Theoretical papers must emphasize practical contribution to Software Engineering, and experimental papers must
describe the method used to interpret the qualitative and quantitative results. Papers will be peer reviewed
according to recommendations of the committee. Selected technical papers will be presented during the technical
sessions and selected position papers will be presented in the poster exhibition. The program committee may
accept as "position paper" a paper originally submitted as a technical paper, and authors of such submissions
will have the choice of accepting this decision and modifying their manuscript accordingly, or retracting the submission.
The papers and a summary of the discussions will be compiled into a technical report that will be posted on the
workshop's website and also published in CD-ROM. If there is a significant amount of submissions of high quality,
the workshop committee will consider submitting them to a special issue of some journal.
