Posters and Demonstrations

top ↑

The demonstration category is intended to promote an environment of visibility and discussions with companies, universities and developers to produce interactive computer systems of all kinds.

The purpose of this category is to give opportunity to exposure works that are based on the design and implementation of new forms of human-computer interaction and expand the known limits of this phenomenon. Fall into this category: software demonstration, presentation of new solutions for graphic design, digital art installations, presentation of draft RDI (research, development and innovation) in progress, designing new styles of interaction diagrams, design solutions among others. These works can be better explored through demonstrations than in articles. A submission for the demonstration could serve as a complement to the presentation of a paper submitted for the event in other categories.

Since 2010 there is a specific track in this category: Theses and Dissertations. It aims to promote the presentation of works that are underway and in time to receive constructive contributions of participants. It is expected to create an environment in which master's and doctoral students can present and receive feedback from experienced members of the community in the area. This opportunity has also aimed to give visibility to academic research for those interested in the business and industry sector, enhancing the integration and cooperation between them.

Presentation: The authors will have a place and time for interactive exhibition; at least one of the authors must be present during the presentation. The instructions and information about resources available at the event will be sent to authors of selected papers.
