IHC
X Simpósio de Fatores Humanos em Sistemas Computacionais
CLIHC
V Latin American Conference on Human Computer Interaction
Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco, Brazil, October 25 to 28 2011
The Students competition has two tracks:
This category seeks to encourage participation in the IHC 2011 of students and teachers of IHC, helping to train these students, the generation of educational material and community experience. The Evaluation Track has an essentially practical feature - students participate in the evaluation of a computer system and thus apply their theoretical knowledge related to assessment methodologies IHC. The first edition of the Evaluation Competition was in IHC 2006 and the second in 2008. It was enrolled undergraduate and graduate students of several schools in the country and the positive results brought us to the fourth edition of the Competition, the 2011 IHC.
Submissions: Submissions must be anonymous and have up to ten pages in ACM SIGCHI format. Authors must submit electronic versions of his works (PDF file) by EasyChair system.
Below it Were placed three settings for each competing team to make their choice of evaluation.

To create a login and password in Moodle or Amadeus, team members should express their interest by sending a message to the coordinators.
This category seeks to recognize and encourage the participation of students and teachers who are interested in developing interactive systems in which the line of HCI is an essential contribution to their acceptance and use.
The Trail of Design is to develop a solution to a design proposed by the organizers of this track. This kind of competition is already part of the programming events such as the CHI (ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems) and MexIHC (Taller de interacción Human-Computer).
The design competition is an opportunity to:
* Students with different bases of knowledge about design (HCI, industrial design, product design, visual design, etc.). to attend the event and demonstrate their solution in an event of international scope;
* Participants in the 2011 IHC + CLIHC know the future design professionals and observe how each team, from different parts of a country or Latin America, addressing the same design problem.
Submissions: Submissions must be anonymous and have up to ten pages in ACM SIGCHI format. Authors must submit electronic versions of his works (PDF file) by EasyChair system.
Both tracks (evaluation and design) have the same deadlines:
