Before automating the test itself, it is necessary to set up the test automation environment, indicated in the Plan Automation activity.

This is the stage that the Test Automation Tool is configured and prepared to be used in the automation itself. The others tools to support the automation activity is also set up at this moment.

It is important to check if all the necessary environment is set up in a way to avoid losing time during the automation.

Any problem found in this stage should be written down in the Automation Report Status.

This is the main activity in the entire process and the real goal can be achieved in this stage.

With the environment configured, the Automation Test Engineer will automation the test cases. It may be done by running the Test Automation Tool or by implementing the test cases to be used by this tool, or maybe it can be done according to the automation way defined by the organization.

Any problem found in this stage should be written down in the Automation Report Status.

The politcs and best practices defined by the organization to this stage should be followed.
